Michael Pierce, General Contractor

Custom Homes in Fallbrook and Bonsall

San Diego County, California

License #B356249

Michael Pierce has been a general contractor in the Fallbrook area since earning his license in 1978 and has built over 100 homes for clients in styles ranging from New England to Craftsman to Tuscan. His experience with framing, finish carpentry, and concrete make him a hands-on builder, the kind who wears a nail belt, not a tie.

Mike is also a meticulous craftsman and woodworker, with a special interest in timber framing. He works with a team of exceptional subcontractors, many of whom have been with him for over twenty years, a few since his first house in 1978. They are men who not only know their trades well, but who answer their phones and solve problems if they occur. Working with these skilled and reliable craftsmen is not an experimental process with uncertain results, but a rewarding collaboration that has worked again and again in on one unique project after another.

Over the years, clients considering building in Fallbrook have contacted Mike at various stages: some call him up to have a look at a particular lot, even before making the purchase; others want to evaluate the possibilities for their land, before hiring a designer; still others have their plans and are ready to go; and then too, there are clients who want their current home altered--  perhaps a new master bath and closet, or,  not infrequently, a spectacular reworking of the entire structure.  Mike also builds a fine barn and has  constructed an underground cellar for a working  winery.  New  structure or remodel,  projects modest to extensive-- Mike does them all. Often he works with a well-respected local firm, Minkler Building Design;  Bob and Steve Minkler have designed over 100 exemplary homes in the Fallbrook area alone.

You can learn quite a bit about Mike’s work by scanning the photographs of houses he’s built, by reading the references from former clients, and by looking over the biographical statement here on this site. But there’s nothing as informative as meeting face to face. Whatever point in the process you’ve reached, arrange to meet with Mike to discuss just what you have in mind. Thanks to the remarkable and invaluable graciousness of former clients, he can arrange for you to view some of his previous projects in person.
